I've noticed that the defroster on the hard top doesn't always work as well as it should (as though the relay isn't being triggered), so I think I'm going to have to revert it back to stock wiring configuration after all. :(

A guy on CR was stripping his NB and I was able to pick up the body-side defrost connector so that I can plug in my soft top defroster. I'm going to wire it all up so that I can leave the soft top plugged in while the hard top is connected.
